The course is designed to provide basic carpentry and joinery skills for those seeking employment in the multi-trade with no previous experience or knowledge in this job sector. This course demonstrates the right procedure from project preparation to the finishing of the job.

• Understand carpentry tools and equipment
• Project inspection and site work preparation
• Fixing skirting to a timber background
• Fixing floor joists and laying flooring
• Fixing door lining in stud partition or blockwork opening
• Hanging an internal door
• Making a casement window
• Making nail box, garden gate and cupboard

• 5 weeks, 1 day a week
• 5 days intensive

Total Fee: £411.25 (VAT Inclusive)

You may be eligble to study towards City & Guilds Construction Basic Skills Level 1 and Level 2.
