The course is designed to provide basic bricklaying skills for those seeking employment in the multi-trade with no previous experience or knowledge in this job sector. This course demonstrates the right procedure from project preparation to the finishing of the job.

• Site preparation, excavations and foundations
• Understand the tools, equipment and materials
• Working with stretcher bond walling
• Constructing block wall
• Constructing cavity wall with recess
• Working with timber frame in brickwork
• Working with stepped foundation using block work
• Constructing a cavity wall using pre-case stone arch
• Constructing a brick and block gable end
• Constructing single flue chimney and pot
• Use decorative bond in bricklaying

• 5 weeks, 1 day a week
• 5 days intensive

Total Fee: £425 (VAT Inclusive)

You may be eligble to study towards City & Guilds Construction Basic Skills Level 1 and Level 2.
