This course includes installation and maintenance of each of the following domestic gas fired appliances. This course is set for candidates who want renew or add appliance qualifications when the candidates have had the CCN1 qualification.

• CEN1 - Central heating boilers/hot water circulators
• CKR1 - Cookers
• HTR1 - Space heaters (including gas fires and wall heaters)
• WAT1 - Water heaters
• DAH1 - Warm air heating appliances
• MET1 - Meters

Alpha Building Services & Engineering Training (Alpha BSE) is a Logic Certification approved ACS assessment centre. We provide dedicated study environment and assessment centre with the best facilities and equipment. Alpha BSE deem to help all individuals in the UK to develop and improve gas and heating skills in various industries by giving you the fast, effective training and assessment.

Training - The training section covers the 15 core competences in gas safety, appliances practical and theory update. It will prepare individuals to confidently complete the ACS initial assessment or reassessment.

Assessment - The assessment section includes both online theory exam and practical assessment. To ensure that the applicant is competence in carrying out the work safely, the practical assessments involve a series of practical checks to the standard of certification scheme.

Domestic Core Gas Safety training: 2 days
Each two appliances training: 1 day
CCN1 theory exam: 1 day
Each two appliances assessment: 1 day

Please note that the training and assessment section of this course is not compulsory. Candidate can choose not to attend the training. In practice very few applicants take assessments only. Our assessors and trainers do recommend candidate complete the course by undertaking necessary training prior the assessment. (Fees discount not applicable without attending training section)

All candidates successful passing the assessments will be awarded with ACS certificate and will continue to be eligible for CORGI registration.
Our centre will register you with the awarding body and apply for certification upon successful completion of the course.
