Electrical Fast Track
This course includes the following three units:
- Basic Electrics
- Logic Certification Part P Defined Scope
- City & Guilds 2382-10/17th Edition
Basic Electrics is designed for beginners who would like to start their career as an electrician. Training is focused on more hands-on practical work.
Building Regulations Part P Defined Scope is a qualification that will enable practising electricians and others, operating in the domestic environment, to gain an understanding of how electrical installation in domestic dwellings must comply with all the relevant Building Regulations.
City & Guilds 2382-10/17th Edition is primarily designed for practising electricians with relevant experiences and other allied professionals e.g. surveyors, consultants and other trades needing to upgrade and enhance their understanding of IEE Wiring Regulations.
Basic Electrics
- Connection of flex to common apparatus
- Installing a one way light circuit
- 13 amp switched socket wired in ring main
- Cut, bend and thread conduit
- Trunking
Building Regulations Part P
- Special locations
- New domestic circuits
- Domestic lighting
- Maintaining domestic installation and 3 phase supplies in addition to the defined scope
City & Guilds 2382-10/17th Edition
The aim of the qualification is to meet the needs of candidates who work in the Building Services Engineering Sector, such as Electricians and those who need to demonstrate the knowledge of the IEE 17th Edition Wiring Regulations.
7 weeks, 2 days per week.
