Teacher Trainers
We are continually looking to employ vocationally competent construction trainers to support our delivery contracts in the following trades:
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Air-conditioning and Refrigeration
- Painting & Decorating
- Carpentry
The purpose of the teaching role is to ensure smooth and efficient teaching and assessing for the department in a timely and efficient manner. Conducting lessons and assessments as per awarding body standards, conducting student tutorials and reviews, assessing student portfolios, monitoring tracking sheets for each module, ensuring all training and assessments are delivered in an efficient and satisfactory manner. Ideally hold or working towards A1 (D32/D33) Assessor Qualification, hold appropriate teaching qualification such PTLLS or QTLLS, minimum 12 months vocational experience and advanced IT skills in PowerPoint and MS Word.
Student Learning Support Advisor
The purpose of the role is to liaise actively with course delivery teams and other designated staff to maximise student retention and achievement. To pro-actively support the achievement of the formal learning goals of a designated caseload of students. You will be required to actively identify the support needs of a designated caseload of students and ensure the co-ordinated provision of the required support, monitor individual student attendance and follow-up where required. Your duties will also include monitoring and reviewing student progress and provide scheduled reports on student attendance. Ideally you should have a degree or equivalent qualification, teaching qualification or a professional in careers guidance. Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment is important. IAG Level 2 qualification will be desirable.
