The course has been developed in conjunction with the electrical industry to meet the needs of the industry and centres and to provide the candidates with an introduction in how to inspect and test (conduct the initial verification) electrical installations.

Health and safety Inspecting electrical installations Testing electrical installations.
Course aims
The aims of the course are to:
meet the needs of candidates who work or want to work as electricians in the electro technical sector allow candidates to learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the electro-technical sector meet the needs of those working in allied trades who are a result of their primary activity undertake some electrical installation work aid progression to enable the undertaking of the relative City and Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installation (2391-10)
