Our provisions from Heating & Ventilation and Domestic Gas Assessment to Electrical Installation and Construction Multi-Trade discover a range of vocational qualifications and apprenticeship programmes available to improve the level of competence of your work force and satisfy your business need.

Traditional Apprenticeships

Alpha BSE Training offers exciting apprenticeship programme that will benefit the employers and the young people. This will enhance the skills and productivity of your workforce by engaging either existing memebers of staff or new employees on any of the following suitable training progarmmes:

  • Heating & Ventilating Domestic Installation
  • Heating & Ventilating Industrial & Commerical
  • Heating & Ventilating Services and Maintenance
  • Duckwork
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical Installation
  • Building Maintenance

Alpha BSE Training will advertise, assess and recruit suitable candidates on your behalf, we would manage all the paperwork. We would manage the process throughout and support you for the duration of the apprenticeship. If the apprentice is aged below 16-18, the cost therefore to you is normally the cost of apprentice's salary, holiday and sick pay etc. If you require to use an apprentice aged 19 or above, a percentage of the training fee is chargeable to the employer.

Apprenticeship Training Agency (ATA)

The ATA model is specifically designed to support employers who wish to take on apprentices but are unable to in the current economic climate. In particular it can support employers who can't commit to employing an apprentice for the full period of the apprenticeship.

The distinctive feature of the ATA model is that Alpha BSE Training will act as the apprentice employer whose role is to place them with a host employer. The host employer pays a fee for the ATA service which is agreed upon based on the wages for the duration of work.

The ATA model offers other benefits for the employer:

  • Support with the recruitment – finding the right apprentice to meet the employer's needs
  • Taking off the responsibilities for the wages, tax, National Insurance as well as administration and management
  • Supervision of the apprentice during the work period
  • Links with an approved training provider and support to both the apprentice and host employer throughout the apprenticeship

AlphaBSE would liaise with you when your company has a peak in work and you would wish to have another pair of hands to support the project , when the project is completed you can then dispense with the apprentice and send them back to us. AlphaBSE would be responsible for ensuring the assessments and other portfolio commitments are carried out.

The ATA is not a temporary work placement option but rather a means to give real flexibility to employers and provide an opportunity for Alpha BSE to delivery a high quality apprenticeship.
